How to Know What Will Come in The Last Days

2 Timothy 3:1-5

(1) But know this, that in the last days’ perilous times will come: (2) For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, (4) traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (5) having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

The word peril, simply means danger, therefore perilous times are simply dangerous times. All coming events have their shadows. The bible quotation above is one of end of the world predictions. Why not? because an end of the world prediction is supposed to happen last.

            Last things usually happen in the last times. There is only one person in this world who is Very Important and supernatural. He is God the Almighty. He

always knows and declares the end from the beginning, his only begotten Son is Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. All that he had said so far had been fulfilled according to scripture. This goes to prove that what we are going to consider would also come to pass. Here are some of the very important things to know in the last days: Which is also an end times prophecy.  In 2 timothy 3:1-5 the bible said “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come” pause here and ask yourself that are we in the end times? yes they will come because:

Men will be Self Loving, selfish and Self-Centered

When you are self-centered, you think only about yourself and not about other people. When you are selfish, you care only about yourself and not about other people. You will not even consider to ask yourself the question are we in the end times?  This sort of behavior is one of the driving forces that have produced the perilous times in our time. The suicide bombing of innocent citizens and the world wide killings and also the slashing of the throats of the saints which we hear are end times news update for us. Leaders who purports to be one of the sons of God and holding very high positions in the church, in the government or in the country have become so selfish and self-centered such that they don’t care anymore about souls. They are not setting examples for people to emulate. When it comes to corruption they are rather seen as the main fibers of corruption. It is a crisis well to be tackled.   What is happening now fits the description in judges 21:25 where no one could provide central leadership because, people said, "This is what I believe; this is what I'm going to follow." Each one had his or her own perception about things. It could also be likened to the pre-period of the flood in Noah’s time and Sodom and Gomorrah. You can cross check some of the end time current events for yourself.

Men Will Be Lovers of Money

Many people have been saying that money is the root of all evil but the scripture says the love of it. The problem is the love of money. It influences men to be evil and not to care about others rights. You will find some of these updates in the end time news today People kill others just because of the love of money. They want to have what belongs to others. Men are prepared to take money and go suicide bomb others, for the love of money, not caring about their own lives nor others. Some of the leaders we see in our churches today in the end times, because of money are influenced to favor or take unjust decisions or judgments against people.  People will abuse one another to possess the things they hold to be beautiful. Don’t you see how men love money in these last days? 

Men Will Be Boasters and Proud

Men have been boasters for a long time but boasting has been worse in these last days. You see, God created us equal and has given us diverse gifts, abilities, skills, professions, and knowledge in fact, he has given us all things:   you name them. What have you that was not given? Yet people have been mocking people for what they have. The bragging has gone up so much especially in the educational or intellectual field. You hear people bragging I am a professor, I have my masters and doctorate degrees and so on and so forth, in the house of the Lord. They have forgotten that if you are a masters’ holder someone is also a mechanic or a fitter:  a job you can also not do in his field; the reason is that he is higher than you because you can’t do what he can do. God has equipped each of us with different skills and knowledge. He made it so in order that the tree will not be a one and only great tree. Why boast or brag?   Some boast about the money they have. What have you that you did not receive? I once attended a church service with a child of about 10-12 years and after the sermon and service I asked the child what did you hear the pastor preach? And the answer was “he said he went to such and such university and has his masters”. I was so sad. Tell some of the men of God to preach Jesus and his Gospel whenever they stand in the pulpit. The child couldn’t have been wrong because I was there myself and that was the comment and criticism of the day. We all heard it. No Jesus no Heaven please!!! 

 

You see, What the word of God has said in the bible are all going to be fulfilled trust Him. When you are about to have malaria for example, you would first experience things like feeling cold or headache and so on. These are signs that you are about to have malaria. The same thing is what we are having in these last days as said in the bible.  2 timothy 3:1-5:  As it was in the days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah, so shall it be in our days. People were doing the same things. I call it history repeating itself:  lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, (4) traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (5) having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! Jesus is coming again soon.
